MPI Application rank 0 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status 1

Hi, i'm trying to run a 1-cylinder hcci simulation on my laptop. I chose average mesh size 0.0006 because it didn't let me chose a bigger size, this was the biggest value that program was able to achieve meshing.

I'm starting the simulation but it exits after 4-5 sec.s. I read from fla file as:

Problem diverges: Scalar transport equation, variable: Species transport, material: 1
MPI Application rank 0 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status 1

It is hard to say? Could you upload *.fla file (or part of file at least)

Hi,

not the screenshot of your FIRE application but the file with extension *.fla that is placed in your case. In this file the setup is written and I can find the problem of divergence. From my opinion is in wrong case setup...

I dont know what to write in selected box in MPI mode?
what is difference of MPI mode with single mode?

For MPI different is only that you put n number of CPUs in (1 is single and 10 is eg. for 10). Your error that you get is from setup...

in order to make PC's in parallel case I have to just join them in to a network and enter their IP in host name?
is it enough?
what should I write in username part?
