Validation Cases Using Ansys Fluent

Objective:

Steady state heat conduction with fixed temperature at both ends.

Problem Definition:

Two ends of wall subjected to constant temperature T1 = 393 K and T2 = 323K.
Wall of length, l = 0.2 m and thickness = 0.001 m
Thermal conductivity, k = 1.2 W/m-K

Methodology:

1. Ansys Fluent was used for simulation
2. Initial condition of temperature 323 K was given to domain
3. Left wall temp = 393...

Here is the TL;DR bullet list:

To help others (and possibly gain IRL Karma points).
To train/gain/increase/improve my experience, knowledge, patience and user support skills, in a way that no PhD or academic course could ever do.
To feel accomplished, in a way similar to playing video games:
- If I can do this task, I can do other tasks as well. If not at the moment, I'll try and try again until I can overcome this (semi-artificial) hurdle.

And if you can find the time and are willing to do...
