turbulence modelling in compressible transsonic flows

Can anybody give me some directions in the following issue: I'm trying to model a internal transsonic flow (Mach=.5-2) with atmosferic stagnantion conditions. I wonder if any of you has tackled this with STARCD and what options to use: for instance: wall functions or a large number of small prismas along the wall (grid is unstructured and generated by ICEM tetra)? K-E models (low Reynols or high) or what ever functions are best or two layer models. Does anyone have experience with the combination STAR/turbulence modelling in transsonic flows?

regards,
