I'm trying to define an inlet boundary using a table. the table is made with tdefine, and the inlet conditions are specified to read that table. My problem is that when I try to make an executable file prostar crashes making a core-file. Have anybody done it successfully and how?

Hi, Astrid,

try this test case:

vc3d,0,1,2,0,1,2,0,1,2

rdef,1,inlet,table $star.tbl

0,0,0,1,0,1.205,

rname,1,

rdef,2,outlet,standard

split,1,

rname,2,

cset,all

view,-1,0,0

cplo

bzon,1,all

view ,1,0,0

repl

bzon,2,all

tbde,star.tbl

1

x,1,y,1,z,1

0.

0.5

0.5

1

u

1

tbwr,star.tbl

If this doesn't work, it's probably a problem of Your computer.

Hi Stephan Thank you for helping me. Does this test case work on your computer(one command has to be added the plot has to be plty, ehid or equal to be able define the boundary)? If it does then something must be wrong on my computer/Star-CD setting. I have found a much more complicated way to do it by defining a user boundary?
