since a sensor returns the value of the surrounding cell, coarse grids again cause problems when comparing experimental data with data from cfd analysis....

has someone already written a macro or an external program, that does some interpolation on arbitrary vertices or sensors ?

how do i quickly find out which cell encloses the sensor or a vertex that is not connected with the mesh ?

First if you load vertex data instead of cell data, then sensors do interpolate.

After you do a sensor,scan if you do a sensor,list it will tell what cell its in.
