flow towards and from dead-end

Hallo

I have made two simulations on the same geometry. The geometry is a T piece with one end of the top bar closed one diameter from the intersection. I have modeled flow so it enters either one way or the other through the T piece. I get the highst relative pressure in the dead-end in the case where flow is away from the T piece and not as I would expect when flow is towards the dead-end. Could andone give an reasonable explantion of this. (by relative pressure I mean the pressure seen in relation to the mean pressure on the outlet surface.

Regards

Bo
