user subroutine SORSCA

Hi

Does anybody know how to pass to STAR a chemical specie source term via SORSCA subroutine? Which is the right way to express source term by the means of S1P, S2P terms required by SORSCA in order to have:

SOURCE = S1P - S2P*SCALAR

Thanks in advance

Re: user subroutine SORSCA

S1P can be given as such. S2P is given as a positive number (Star takes care of the negative sign) and without the scalar that is considered (again, Star multiplies S2P with the scalar which will have the source term)

Thanks Ossi

But I want to know which is the best way to decompose my source term (generally called Wk) in order to transform it in th form required by STAR. In other word which is the relationship between the source term Wk (evaluated with an external model) and the two parameters S1P e S2P?

Thanks in advance

Re: user subroutine SORSCA

You have to linearize you source term. Usuallu S1P is the constant term and S2P is depending on the scalar that is considered.

Dear Ossi

Linearization of my soruce term is not easy... May I use its logical definition?

Wk = dYk / dt

Thanks
