to kill a job with files written

Hi, I would like to stop my steady state run so that all the files will be written out before it stops. Is there an option with the kill-command so that all the files are written before the run stops ??

Hi! To stop Star-CD run just create a file named ABORT (in caps!) in the case directory. If you're under UNIX/Linux you can use command touch ABORT.

Hi Anton, could you please drop several words about what is the case directory. I will be very grateful.

Hi! The case directory is the directory from which you run your job, where all your case files are located (.mod, .geom, .prob, etc.)
