Hai, Iam doing flow analysis in DI DIESEL engine with moving piston and valves..Does anyboday know how to get the averaged quantities of incylinder data??? I want to know the averaged quantities of pressure temperature and all other properties inside the cylinder.can anybody tell about this.. thanks in advance.. urs jaipal

You could try with command RAVG, but I can't understand very well your problem. Bye

RAVG is an option in the *GET command. You also try out SUMM.

I checked the command manual but found neither RAVG or the same option in *get. what's the problem?

load the value of some variable in one register. load the volume( area) of cset in another register sum up the two registers respectively then get the average data by divide the former with the later

Hai all, Thank u for fast respone.I got ur point. RAVG is only for getting the avegare of data in the register. SUMM command i will try and see. I have one more doubt can we write a user defined fuction to get the average values of incylinder data. My intention is to plot a incylinder pressure and temperature graphs with respetive to crank angle.. can anybody help me. thanks in advance.

SORRY FOR making mistakes in my last post. it should be: load the variable value in 1st register.; load the areas or volumns of the cset in 2nd register; multiple the 1st and 2nd acoordingly and save the results in the 3rd register; sum up the 1st and 3rd register respectively; and divide the sum of 3rd register by that of the 1st register , you can get the average value
