High Reynolds 2D Airfoil

I'm having some problems understanding the results given by Star regarding the turbulent energy (k), dissipation (ep) and viscosity. It happens that the Max. value for k is in front of the airfoil. Could this happen? (It envolves the whole front and it's zero over the rest of the domain)

I've specified zero for both k and ep on "inflow" boundaries.

About ep... Could it be zero over the whole domain except near the airfoil "wall"?

I'm using RNG model with the standard coeficients. Without SW 157.

How is the model turbulence influenced by the grid?

I'm using a trimmed mesh with integral couples to do the refinements. Is this adequate?

Apreciate your patiente...

Thanks a lot (in advance)

Carlos
