Default Wall function usage

Star-CD provides 2 methods of resolving the near wall turbulent boundary layer ... 1)Two layer model. 2)Wall function. I am familiar how to use the 2 layer model, but any idea how to use the wall function?

As far as I know you don't have to do anything special for using the wall functions, except for that you have to take care about your near-wall cell layer. y+ should be in [30;100]. If you choose the high-re-k-e turbulence model, the wall functions are automatically employed.
