Hello, I have a problem with residual. I cannot display the residual, how can I get it? I have some files: .rsi, .rpo, .erd; which of them I must use? Which procedure I must use? Thank you in advance. Bye

The infomation you want is in the *.rsi file. Using prostar you should do
Graph > load grapha data > load STAR residuals + m...
- load data
- graph data

Thank you for your help. I have another question for you: When I do "plot to file", the star-cd create a new file .plot, but I cannot display it. Which program I must use for display the file .plot? Can I change the format of this file? Thank you in advance. Bye

Use plot-xm to display it on a X window. Use plot-gif to convert it to a gif-bitmap.
Greetings, Marc

It depences on the computer system. If you use workstation, please use plot-xm(x). There are some other software can be used for show plot depending on your system.

In the Star Launcher, choose plot-xm from the Neutral Plot Utilities menu

Thank you. I have another problem. I would like to track the "particle tracks" with the starguide but I find a problem: infact the particle tracks that I display, hide my model also when they are hiden from my model. How can I hide the particle tracks that are hide from my model? (for example: a wall hide a particle tracks when it trought back the wall). Thank you in advance. Bye

I think you can try converting your particle tracks into shell tubes. It is described at www.adapco-online.com/drpost/drpost5.html
