Global & Local axes

Hello! If I have a geometry not built according to default global axis but have all the BCs defined according to a new local axis, can the computation be run according to the local axis instead of the default global axis? (e.g. when refining cells and computing the u,v,w momenta in equation behavior-primary variables)? Thanks.

p/s: how about having a Star-Cd conference or training seminar in Bali or Lombok next year anyone? Can CD-adapco organize something like it?

Re: Global & Local axes

Hello Azmir,

Actually everything you build is already based on the global coordinate system. If you need to view your vectors based on some local coord. system, you can try using the REFR command (GUIde>Post-processing>Load Data>Coord System).

CD-Adapco usually holds their user group meetings in the states, europe, and Japan. You can easily join in any one of them, more so if you wish to present something. You should try asking them directly.
