identify Cell face

Hello, i am a beginner: the mesh is a tube: how to get the cell faces on the outer diameter? I want to attach shell or baffle only to these faces? Face Number: how to get it? I want to color for e.g. face 1 with color 1 and so on. Thank you

Hey!
You have a lot boolean possibilities to select all kind of cell arrangements in Star. Try some of the basic options with your mesh:
CSET, NEWS
CSET, ADD
CSET, SUBSET
CSET, UNSELECT

CSET, *,ZONE is useful if you want to select some cells out of the displayed ones.

Numbers:
Menu > Plot > number > Cell
Greetings.

There is a command, PLFACE, that will allow you to display the cell face numbers, by colouring them.
