rotating channel

Did anybody try to model a rotating channel case. It's a classic problem fully developed rotating turbulent channel, but using the STAR-CD rotating frame the results are crazy. Any comment would be wellcome thanks

Hi Emilio,

I'm stuck on the same thing. I'm trying to model a 3D rotating channel on FLUENT. I've tried using moving reference frame (MRF) as well as simple UDF to incorporate coriolis and centrifugal body forces, however I've been unable to validate my results with that of ASME and other papers...

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
