Does anyone know what's the default value for density limiter in Star-CD and how it can be changed (with RCON, I guess)? I need to simulate very rarified (high-altitude) flow, and my density at inlet (3.0e-4) is below the limiter from the very beginning of the simulation.

I also have this problem. I am solving a turbomachinary problem with compressible flow..density as a function of pressure and temprature.There is a warning in info file that density is out of bound due to pressure correction at cell.. limiter applied.Density value is 1.163.0e-4. please i am not able to understand what should i have to do. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, in your case you first have to be sure that the values you get are realistic and not produced but numerical factors. You can try to lower relaxation factors for pressure and density and see what will happen. But actually it's really possible to get very rarefied flow due to expansion.
