Heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase

Hello,

Who knows what is km in the equation (12-17) [Methodology] for heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase?

It's the thermal conductivity of the continuous phase. I think the subscript m implies that it is evaluated at the temperature T_m.

And what is the temperature T_m?

It's at the top of page 12-7: the "mean temperature". I guess that is 0.5(T+T_d).
