Heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase
Hello,
Who knows what is km in the equation (1217) [Methodology] for heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase?
Re: Heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase
It's the thermal conductivity of the continuous phase. I think the subscript m implies that it is evaluated at the temperature T_m.

Re: Heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase
And what is the temperature T_m?

Re: Heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase
It's at the top of page 127: the "mean temperature". I guess that is 0.5(T+T_d).

Re: Heat transfer coefficient for dispersed phase
what does heat tranfter coefficient mean?
