Hello everyone!

When I using starCD3.15 in linux version to running moving mesh case of tutorial 7.1,it can not run correctly, and there are erros as

License info: CDLMD_LICENSE_FILE=/opt/starcd/license/license.dat (from ~/.flexlmrc)

Checking out starsolver

*** GEOMETRICAL CALCULATIONS STARTED *** GEOMETRICAL CALCULATIONS COMPLETED Could not find and execute PROSTAR

Can anyone tell me what's the problem, and what I should do to running correctly?

Thanks a lot!

You must run pmovlink first - that creates the script PROSTAR.

What does it mean, the it does not work? What are the error messages or the output from each of the steps?

Just try it again:

1) load the model in prostar

2) connect the event file by using the command "evfi ,,"

3) connect the transient file "trfi ,, "

3a) if you have more than 1 load step defined do a "lsra 1 , XX" where XX is the max defined loadstep

4) write the geometry file "geom ,,"

5 ) write the problem file "prob ,,"

6) close prostar

7) run pmovlink

8) run starlink

9) run star

Look at the output from any of these steps.

IF you use starcd of windows version you should double-press "starcd batch",set you working directry and press "prostar"on the batch. if you use starcd of linux or unix version you should enter your working directry and type "prostar",do as this, I think you can do what you want.
