Hi all, I would like to calculate cp along a flat plat. I have tried to do this by load pressure,static pressure and total pressure for the boundary and calculated cp=(pressure-pstatic)/(ptot-pstat)

This seems not to be a good idea. It looks to me that pstat and ptot are equal.

Can anybody advice me, how to calculate cp? Thanks.

Hello

I believe at the wall pstatic is ptot because the velocity is zero.

ptot = pstatic + 1/2*rho*V**2

I believe you need to do

Cp = (p-p_infinity) / 1/2*rho_infinity*V_infinity**2

The p in the above equation is from the getc p command and the infinity values are a constant based on the free stream.
