Radiation problem with one wall

As I konw, STAR can solve the radiation problem in a closed volume. But I have rectangular domain(numerical domain) and ther are 2 boundary condition

Transmissive

Wall(radiation patch)

And heat generation occurs within the numerical domain. At the region, the fluid temperatur increases up to 10,000K.

Can Star solve the energy transfer between the bottom wall and the high temperature fluid?

This problem is 2D.

If I understand your question correctly, I believe the answer is yes. Look for the participating media radiation options.

Re: Radiation problem with one wall

You mean that the Star can consider the emission of hot gas?

There is only one side wall, the others(3 boudaries) are transient transmissive boundaries. I use STAR ver.3.22(Linux)

How to handle this problem?
