What about defining water vapor as an active scalar, affecting the properties of the fluid?

Hi,

If u define water vapour as ascalar, in case of an evaporator water will condense by taking latent heat from air how to simulate this? we have to remove mass and heat from the system via user coding for sources is is correct?

I think yes, though I've never faced such a complicated problem myself. You can try to ask support, may be they already have samples of such user subroutines.
