hi there,

does anyone know how to plot a contour 3d plot to represent static pressure on the surface and also at the same time have streamline particle tracks with coloured tracks representing the velocity rather than static pressure?

i cannot seem to assign a variable to the particles colour

any help appreciated

tia

hi,

if you have provis installed you can do this.open the model in prostar then load postdata. use the following commands

ngeom npost

this will generate provis files these files can be loaded into provis and various types of plots wiht overlay can be obtained.

If you want ot do everything in prostar it is tedious. refer plot and glm option is www.adapco-online.com
