Dear respected Star-CD users. Could you please clarify how to make a helical pipe in Star-CD. I already made it by Gambit, but I can not make it work in Pro-star (using the command GAMBIT, File_name.neu). Manyyyyyy errors after importing the mesh appeared. Thanks in advance for your higly appreciated help. Wael

Look for VTRANS command and example of its usage in one of "DrMesh" issues (see "Star-CD Dynamics" magazine at CD-Adapco web site)

Dear Anton, Thank you very much for your comment and sorry for my delay in responce to you. Can I do it in Star-Design , as I found some way like Gambit (sweep-face)? I am trying but I am very new to Star-CD at all. I was using Fluent but my problem may be solved by a special model in Star-CD. Also if you remember which issue of Star-Dynamic/Dr mesh magazine. I have to see. Thanks again and my best regards.

At which point do you have a problem? Prss F1 to get the help window and look for every command, how it works. Come back if you have any specific question.
