Piezo Pressure

This seems to be a simple question. However can anyone tell me the significance of piezo swith in pressure boundary condition. More specifically what difference shall I expect in the results when I swith on piezo and static pressure respectively

Re: Piezo Pressure

piezo is active only when you have switched on gravity.

Re: Piezo Pressure

Thank you for the reply. But I would like to know how does gravity relate to Piezo pressure.

Re: Piezo Pressure

All details are given in starcd manual.

When gravity is on the datum head will get added in the pressure. (pressure exerted by vertical fluid column above the point)
