Residual and monitored graphs

I plotted residual and monitored graphs but I do not understand the meaning of these graphs. What is the difference between monitored and residual? What is the meaning of TE and ED? How can I discuss the accuracy of two sets of results (for two different grid) by using these graphs? Thank you.
