How to decide the mesh size?

Hi,everyone! I have done a model in stardesign and generate tetrahedral mesh in it and run. It converge well, but i find the simulation result is bad. So I want to change the mesh size. But when I change the mesh size, it diverge. Why does this happen? How could I decide the mesh size? I also import the .ezs file to proam and generate mesh. But it diverge also. Does the mesh size have so close relation with convergence when using tetrahedral? How could I decide the mesh size? please help me! Thank you in advence!
