Software for exprting file in STAR-CD format ???

Its Urgent. Can anybody help me in finding, from which software we can output the data in STAR-CD format? Is Hypermesh or Ideas used for this?

Re: Software for exprting file in STAR-CD format ?

If I understood you correctly, you want to transfer solid model into Star-CD, right? Then you can make solid model in any 3D modeling software like CATIA, UNIGRAPHICS, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, etc. Then save your model as IGES format, if you are using Star-CD 3.22 or Star-CD 3.24 in the Star-Launch you select pro-Star/Surf, you transport your solid model into that and generate a surface of your model, then you go to pro-Star/amm and transfer your generated surface into pro-Star/amm, you can find an option AutoMesh just select it and follow the steps it shows you.
