fluid moves blades?

Default fluid moves blades?

Hi, can anybody answer one quastion: I want flow to move blades of turbine. Can I do it with help of star-cd or any CFD-software? Thanks for attention.

Yes (in a word) if they are just simply rotating its not that hard, just 1 DOF (degree of freedom) modelling, you just need some user coding to calculate the forces on the blades (aerodynamic, intertia, friction losses etc) and get that to control the rotation rate.
