Default parameters of turbulence models

Hello to everybody,

I use the standard k-e turbulence model and I want to see Reynolds Stresses. A partner from this forum tell me to set real constant 113 to 1 in PROSTAR and edit parm.inc to increase NSC parameter by 6 (six stresses) before running STAR, but the only thing I found is the file parm.inc and I found also the parameter NSC. Do someone know how can I set real constant 113 to 1 in PROSTAR? Is this an information in an ascii file or do I have to change something in the software of my computer? Thank you in advance.

George

Sorry just returned: in PROSTAR, Analysis Controls=>Other Controls=>Switches and Real Constants

Select Real constants, set c113 to 1, and apply, write problem file.

Hi again,

I changed the C113 in 1,then I wrote problem file and in the parm.inc I changed the corig parameter:

CORIG PARAMETER (NSC = 6)

PARAMETER (NSC = 6)

and when I try to run it an error message displayed:

*** YOU ARE RUNNING DOUBLE PRECISION VERSION *** *** REYNOLDS STRESSES (MOLECULAR STRESSES NOT INCLUDED), -rho*uiuj, WRITTEN FOR POST-PROCESSING *** Read 1 tables in the problem file *** ERROR #225 *** NEED DEFINE 6 NON-SOLVED SCALARS TO STORE THE REYNOLDS STRESSES, WHICH ARE T11,T12,T13,T22,T23,T33 PNP: Shutdown [2007-01-16-16:03:57] Execution aborted by request (SIGABRT) after 3 seconds (TOTAL ELAPSED TIME).
