Cylindrical Coordinates in Starccm+

I set-up the model in cartesian coordinates and ran the model. Now that it is done, I realized I would like to make a contour plot of the tangential velocity. I thought I could do this by setting up a cylindrical coord. system and then selecting tangential velocity as the field function. When I tried this, the plot is blank, other velocity contours work fine. Has anyone else tried this?

I think the tangential velocity is computed using the region's reference frame. You don't need to create a coordinate system.

Hi chris the tangential velocity is defined around the z axis so you need to have a symetry around the z axis
