Hi friends any body is working on CNG (compressed natural gas) injection to the combustion chamber of a CNG engine by using STAR-CD.

CNG injection is like anyother fluid injection. StarCD is capable of injecting any fluid into another fluid. But it is of course different from injecting droplets. Hence you could not choose that in built option. You can do this by two ways:

(i) by writing user coding and activating the subroutine sormom.f

(ii) by creating our nozzle like structure complete with inner flow passages and writing event files to exactly open at a time (mimicking actual nozzle function
