what kind of Linux Fortran is suitable 4 starcd4.0
 
Is Intel fortran 9.1 ok???? I dont want to install absoft fortran in my linux....... So does any1 know about it? thx alot!

you do not need fortran compiler unless you are planning to use user-coding.

User-coding is still a beta feature in star v4. star v4 is mainly a code for academic purposes.

If you are industrial and plan to use user-coding it is recommended to stay with v3.26 (or star-ccm+) for now until it has the appropriate mileage in 1 or 2 years.

At CD-Adapco's wesite in platform information section it says that you can use IFC 7.0 Fortran version for Linux 2.4, glibc 2.2.2
