Hi, I've just modellized a flow through a fan using MRF, and now i'd like to do it using body forces. Does anybody has experience with this? Thanks for your answers!

U can model a fan in Star using sormom.f subroutine and define the fluid region as a Momentum source. U have to know only the dP and the fan geometry. If U cannot use subroutines U can use table script.

Also is it possible to give direction of fan blade rotation.? Is there any relation for calculating moemtum generated by FAN which i am going to insert in to cellset?
