view factors for radiation simulation

Hello, I would like to know how to export the view-factors from STARCD, as input for STARCCM. I have been trying repeatedely, but not able to do so. For some reason, it is not possible to create view factors in STARCCM for radiation simulation. Please send in your comments- Thanks.

Thanks.... The only reason that i wish to use STARCCM is for the reason that heat transfer co-efficient can be given as input. Can this be possible in STARCD? If so, how do i do this in STARCD?

Trust me use STAR-CCM+ radiation it is a hell of a lot better

I am currently using 2.04, guess I will be able to get the new version only after sometime. However can you please tell me if STARCD can take heat transfer co-efficient as input? If so, how do I input the same?

in STAR-CD if your all conditions are ok, after one iteration STAR-CD create viewfactor file for users.. after that you will use it with STAR-CCM+ if all are correct.. as Ben I also advise you to use STAR-CCM+ v.2.06.. it is very very easy to create patches, and compute viewfactors.
