transient file openning problem

Default transient file openning problem

Hi all, when I open the transient file in post-processing, i got error message "**error reading transient file" and "error opening file xx.pstt" there are 3600 time steps, the rotor rotates for 360 degrees, and time step for period is equal to 0.1, and every one degree writes data. The size of transient file is 6.57 GB.It took more than one day for get solution, ahh,,,!!. please someone advise how i can solve this.

Hi. May be you try do it in windows release of star-cd. If it's true - this is impossible. Windows release of star-cd can't operate with *.pst file bigger than 2gb. Use linux.
