I try to make an air simulation of an ICE using Star-CD 3.26 and a mesh created with es-ice. When I launch STAR: "could not bind to local port cannot assign requested address" and stop the simulation (or better, never start!!!) Please help me Many thanks Eddy |

If you work on Linux operating system, probably you have an old process "zombie". Use command "ps -ef", and kill the processes where you read PROSTAR or similar. Bye

Mhmhm, try to restart network services and check if rsh is active.
Another try (if you use a workstation) is to restart your pc and suddenly run the calculation. You must be sure you haven't another Ice process. In fact, you can run only one Ice-simulation for each pc. Vinny |
