CCM+: Surface Wrapping Tutorial

Hi, has anybody seen a tutorial or something like that to test how the surface wrapper is working? Strange to have such an nice feature but no chance to test it without reading the tutorial guide (hard work).

CD-adapco are hammering on about the wrapper fairly hard at the moment so I reckon if you were to e-mail them they should be able to send you one.

This is probably because the suface wrapper is developed in the UK.

No it was developed in the US where all the meshing products have been developed.

CD-adapco (in Germany, the UK, the US) have surface wrapping tutorials, you just need to ask the support team. There is certainly one based around this demo:

To be honest, the surface wrapper is simple enough that you can start using it on your own geometries without too much difficulty

To be honest, the surface wrapper is very complex. But in the next Version (3.xx) is a tutorial in the user guide. I have it now. To be honest: very, very complex but fantastic. Fluent (Ansys) should put on warm clothes ;-)

What is obvious to some is baffling to others.

Really? I know both of the wrappers, ccm+ up to v2.08 and FLUENT (TGrid 5.0) and in my eyes there is no doubt about that Fluent has the better one....
