Default importing surface from Pro/E

I am well familiar with Pro-STAR but not with importing the geometries into Pro-STAR. I did create geometry in Pro/E and did save it as .iges file. I opened it in Pro/E surfaces and mesh it. Then I export from Pro/E surfaces as .STL format and finally imported it in Pro-STAR with import grid option in stl format. I can see the shells. I am familiar with the VCEXTRUDE command to convert shells (with single surface) into Fluid or solid cells. How do I convert shells having more than one surface (I got 6 surfaces)into fluid or solid cells.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sachin

hi

did you check your file in prosurf?

you can create a closed triangulated surface in here, and mesh it in proam

alternatively star-cd has a proe pluggin
