Anybody can explain what does it mean NSC(number of scalar) when setting properties on thermophysical polynomial in STAR-CD?

NSC is an option that identifies a scalar in many commands. The scalar number is simply the number you assign to each scalar under the additional scalars>>molecular properties tab.
