Dear all,

I read in the supplementary notes STAR CD version 4.02, we can conjugate heat transfer in porous media. And it is stated that we can create the solid material for it in the Thermophysical Models and Properties > Solids > Material Properties panel in STAR GUIde, but I cannot find this panel. Anyone have experiences in doing this case simulation please kindly share your knowledge.

Thanks

One more additional question, for the detached solid cells block, is the size is same with the porous cells block or not?

You must select first the Thermophysical Models and Properties > Thermal option panel. There you must turn on the conjugate heat transfer model, press apply and only then you'll be able to see the "solid" panel on the Star-Gui.
Hope that help
Regards,
Andrea
