I would like to know if you have the same experience with me. I am using STAR CD 4.02. When I run the solver with cells more than around 250k and using low reynolds number turbulence model, the star402.exe is error and forced to shutdown. If I use the high reynold number turbulent model the solver can run only until 100 iteration and also forced to shutdown. What is the problem? is it a bug?

I am running the STAR CD in windows XP 32 bit.

Upgrade to the latest version 4.06, 4.02 is a few years old now and was never that great, if it is a bug it will probably have been fixed in a later version.

Thanks Jim, anyway I try the linux version and it is running without a problem.
