inner interface

Hi , I have defined two regions while creating geometry and then have imported it into starccm+. I need two define the inner interface where the two regions join each other. both are fluid regions. when i try to convert the face to inner interface it creates a copy as well. now I have one face and one copy in each region all together four where I need only two. any hint please??

Re: inner interface

I am getting the following message when i try to generate volume mesh.

An edge attached to Boundaries: Face 5, device is attached to an odd number of faces (3). Check surface and interface definitions on these boundaries before proceeding.:

Re: inner interface

Delete whatever copies and interfaces you already created.

Select the two interfaces needed (one from each region), do "Create Interface", "In-Place".

"Convert to interface" should be used if you don't have separate regions already set up. Otherwise, use "Create Interface"
