How to work with constant pressure?

Hello,

I'm working with star ccm and star cat5 and I have built a part in Catia. To work with a constant mass flow or speed is no problem but I would like to work with a constant pressure like on a flow bench.

Re: How to work with constant pressure?

Hello,

I have tried a little bit with the stagnation boundary. When I make it on inlet AND outlet it seems to be that what I want to do. Inlet 1.1bar, outlet 1.0bar and the flow goes.

Seems to be too easy or works it correct?

Regards, Martin

I have tested it. On a normal T-elbow it works but on a more complex body I get rubbish. Mass flow 230kg/s but 180-220 kg/HOUR seems more realistic. Has somebody a hint for me? Manual don't help..
