GridVelocity with the Morpher at Star-ccm+ 3.06
 

Hi all,

I'm a student writting his Master Thesis about a CFD Problem.

I need some Informations about the Morpher model. I want to simulate the motion of a piston of a damper. Therefor I use the Morpher Model with the GridVelocity option to move the piston. The problem ist after some time steps the cells adjacented to the moving boundary get negative volume.

Unfortunately the documentation I have about the Morpher model is realy poor. Do someone know how I can solve this problem?
