Default anyone used star ccm+ to model rivers

if so could you tell me how you set the boundary conditions - can you set inflow in cubic meters per second and the outflow as a depth?
got any example files that you could share

I'm not sure what you mean with depth?!
But inlet you can calulate with the density?
I would try to make it with a field function which converts it.
