Dear All,
STAR-CD did not accept the file created by Fluent, but STAR-CCM+ provide the import function with cas file of Fluent. The mesh and Boundary condition in CAS file can be compatible with STAR-CCM+.
Another, you can directly use Co-simulation using the SIMULIA Co-simulation Engine (CSE) with Fluent.
The detail information can be found in Abaqus website, http://www.3ds.com/support/certified...co-simulation/

Does anyone has any experience in using MPCCI coupling for STAR-CD and ABAQUS? Is it a straight forward procedure or a rather tricky way to get (unreliable) results?
I depend on using STAR-CD and ABAQUS as other software products are not available for me.

now,star ccm+ abaqus co-simulation can achieve two-ways fluid-structrue interaction

Dear All,

I am seeking an individual to run FSI analysis for me with Abaqus and StarCCM+. I am currently handling a project for my company and have not had time to run these simulations myself and I actually don't have access to the software at my current location.

I will provide all the raw data you will need to run it, all I require is the report. This is more of an academic work, not industry based. I will pay for such service. You can contact me for further discussion if you are interested.

Cheers

recently,I am doing corresponding FSI work based on co-simulation starccm and abaqus, major in subsea riser
