Hi,

When I import the surface mesh in star CCM+ (the beginning stage), below the grahic window I see this:

Face Quality Faces Percent
0.0 - 0.1 608 10.9
0.1 - 0.2 303 5.4
0.2 - 0.3 152 2.7
0.3 - 0.4 174 3.1
0.4 - 0.5 342 6.1
0.5 - 0.6 885 15.9
0.6 - 0.7 577 10.4
0.7 - 0.8 1465 26.3
0.8 - 0.9 809 14.5
0.9 - 1.0 255 4.6
Worst quality is 0.0002 on face 3982

Can someone please explain what is "face quality" and the importance of "face quality"?

Many thanks,

Arun
