I've just started to release the new CFD-Wiki focus area for August 2006. The new focus area is Validation and test cases. I apologize for the delay. I was supposed to release this in June, but a fairly heavy car accident which I was in delayed that I'm afraid.

I have updated the main page to reflect the new focus area. Please check out the links and make any modifications that you want. I will send out a public email to all registered CFD-Wiki users (>1,800 peopled) tomorrow. Hence, we have a day to finalize any things that we want improved before the public launch by email tomorrow.

The purpose of this focus area is to work together on gathering a fairly complete database of validation and test cases. Everyone testing a CFD code would really need a free online database where case data, geometries, meshes and even computed solutions was freely available directly online. This is our chance to create it.

The public email about the new focus area was sent yesterday. Hopefully all of you who have registered on CFD-Wiki with a correct email address have already got the email. If not, please let me know.
