How to visualize/ calculate applied heat source during post processing

Dear CFD Online users!

Although it appears to be a simple task I'm struggeling with the calculation of the applied heat source specified in cfx5pre during post processing. I'd go with an approach like

volumeInt(<heatSource_variable>)@subdomain

but I can't find a suitable variable for the heat source. I do not want to go with the heat flux over the connecting interfaces since I have not named them specifically and I have hundreds of subdomains resulting in even more interfaces.

Any suggestions?

I have found this also. The way I got round it was to write the heat source variable to an additional variable, then it is available in the post processor.

First of all thanks for your response. That's the way I got around that yesterday, but I still hoped there'd be a less tiring approach offering a plausibility check. Anyway, thank you again.
