tutorials spray dryer

I have done the tutorial spray dryer. But i am confused about some points.

In the tutorial,a continuous gas named Gas mixture containing H2O and Air ideal gas is created. And a binary mixture of H2O and H2Ol is also created.

According to the tutorial, when i insert the air inlet boundary, i just set Basic settings & Boundary details. I am confused how do computer know what exactly flows in the domain as i do not set about it.

Am i clear?

I hope some would reply, thank you sincerely.
Leo

Anyone,please?

I am not sure, but I suspect it then uses the default values. The defaults are probably a mass fraction of zero, so pure air.

Glenn,thank you again.
I checked the setting, and you are right.
In the boundary settings , the H20 mass fraction is 0,so its pure gas.
I found the reason why i am confused before. The liquid water enteres the domain with pure gas,and they enter the domain with the same velocity.Previous, i assumed there is only liquid water in the water nozzel.
It is interesting that it confused for some time.
